EPS doctoral student wins grant
Erica Edwards is the proud recipient of one of the Georgia State University dissertation grant awards. The award is in support of her work with black girls suspended, expelled or involved in juvenile courts and their school re-entry processes. Edwards studies with the RMS unit in our department.
“This work allows me to combine my background as an educator and youth activist with my love for research,” Edwards said. “I intend to establish a career exploring the intersections of
qualitative research methodology and activism.”
