Social Foundations of Education Podcasts

During her senior year at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina, Andreka participated in the Ronald E. McNair Scholars program. Her experience in the program equipped her with the skills to pursue a graduate degree that would prepare her to work in a field serving urban children in an educational setting.

Once Callan realized her passion lie in shaping educational and health policies, she decided to pursue a degree that exposed her to a broader understanding of how social policies impact urban communities.
